Job purpose


The Technology Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the management of technology projects from inception to completion. The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordination of resources, equipment, meetings, and documentation including, project schedules, process flow and reporting.
 
Duties and responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, budgets and expenditures
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Identify, communicate and/or escalate issues, risks and status to manage stakeholders’ expectations
  • Ensure project deliverables meet stakeholder requirements and expectations
  • Document and follow up on important actions, project tasks and decisions from meetings
  • Develop and implement best practices and standards for project management
  • Coordinate resources and manage project dependencies
  • Provide project documentation and reporting
  • Manage vendor performance and contractual obligations
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
     

 Qualifications/Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the technology industry
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in Waterfall and Agile Teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and customer service focus
  • PMP. CAPM or other related certification is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is a plus
