Job Summary:

Responsible for supporting a primarily Windows studio infrastructure, covering Workstations, Laptops, Networking and Storage. This role would report into the Head of Studio and work in collaboration with the IT team at our Shanghai office.



  • Manage, maintain and support windows workstations & servers
  • Help troubleshoot workstation and laptop issues
  • Help deploy and install software like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier and Foundry Flix
  • Troubleshoot networking (wired & wifi) related issues for workstations and laptops
  •  Help manage EMC Isilon based storage, including managing permissions and access control
  • Work with external vendors (HP, EMC etc) to support the hardware and software in the studio. Including sending failed hardware for RMA
  • Maintain a detailed inventory of all hardware and software licenses in the studio


Skills Needed:

  • Be proactive, love troubleshooting and happy to help less technical users
  • 3-5 years managing a Windows infrastructure (Windows AD, Windows Server)
  • Knowledge in managing and supporting windows workstations and users 
  • Knowledge in managing and configuring Networking services (DNS, DHCP NTP etc)
  • Knowledge in managing software on users workstations (SCCM, PDQDeploy)
  • Knowledge in hardware troubleshooting (HDD, RAM and Burn-in testing workstations)
  • Experience with Foundry, Autodesk, Adobe and other VFX software
  • Managing networked printers and scanners

Ability to lift heavy objects, at least 25 lbs
