Description:

This PA Support role is an opportunity to be involved with a highly successful Pre Visualisation company working on feature films. You will work closely with artists and production management helping with day-to-day office tasks. This is not a technical position but there will be some low-level requirement to work on machines so an understanding of VFX softwares is beneficial. This role will be primarily based at Leavesden Studios in Watford but may require some travel to other studio spaces from time to time.

Responsibilities: 

  • Providing administrative support and assisting with general production duties such as making phone calls, booking couriers, reconciling company credit cards, stocking supplies and general cleanup duties.
  • Help deploy simple set-up softwares like Adobe Suite
  • Help setting up and wrapping machines at the start and end of each production
  • Running image resets on all machines before they are deployed.
  • Flag any technical issues with machines to Head of Production
  • Liaising with Head of IT in LA if technical support is required.
  • Help manage access control passes to Proof HQ
  • Help maintain a detailed inventory of all hardware and software licenses on Shotgun
  • From time-to-time you will be required to help package up assets ready for client delivery using Maya.
  • Other duties such as general personal tasks (client services, lunch and coffee runs).

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent computer skills: Windows, MS Word, Microsoft Excel
  • Be proactive and love troubleshooting
  • Experience with computer graphics and/or editing software is a definite plus
  • Some knowledge of Maya, Nuke and Adobe products
  • Understanding of animation and modelling principles is a bonus.
