You can:

  • Manage and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on user workstations running Linux, Mac, and occasionally Windows
  • BASH and/or Python Scripting to increase production in our area of supporting the artists
  • Local Network management, Digital security,  managing and maintaining  network and system security
  • Lead and manage IT team, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions
  • Gathering of metrics to identify trends that help create business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives
  • Develop and implement all policies and procedures for the IT team.
  • Be responsible for developing and executing project plans.
  • Establish and maintain regular communications with executives, department heads, and end users regarding IT activities
  • Create user documentation and assist with the creation and development of user training documentation


You have:

  • Knowledge at the level of a Senior system administrator in the areas of networking, linux, virtualization, etc
  • A proactive, honest, positive, curious and energetic attitude
  • The ability to troubleshoot
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux
  • Knowledge of OSX, CentOS/RHEL
  • Advanced knowledge of and experience with networking concepts and network implementations
  • Advanced knowledge of automation tools such as Puppet or Chef
  • Advanced knowledge of virtualization concepts and implementations ( xenserver preferred )
  • Advanced knowledge of security concepts ranging from file permissions to best practices and backdoor prevention
  • Creative problem solving skills and proven ability to think through complex issues
  • Dynamic work ethic including effective time management
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a collaborative or team setting
  • Excellent oral communication skills with the ability to effectively and accurately communicate at all levels of the organization
  • High degree of accuracy, organizational and communication skills, detailed oriented and strong team player
  • The ability to relocate if necessary



  • A degree in Computer Science or IT is preferable
  • Experience with visual effects facilities or similar is beneficial
