The Infrastructure Systems Administrator works with the Systems Manager to ensure optimal operation, monitoring and maintenance of the technology infrastructure. He participates in the evolution of the infrastructure and takes charge of the administration of data management equipment and systems. He communicates effectively with different service providers. He documents the architecture and IT procedures. He performs the tasks assigned to him and responds, as needed, to user support requests. He works as part of a team and helps to improve the knowledge of his colleagues.




1. Infrastructure:

· Responsible for administering, configuring, optimizing and monitoring servers;

· Responsible for administering, configuring, optimizing and monitoring storage systems;

· Responsible for monitoring and managing the media data flow;

· Administer the networks together with the Systems Manager;

· Document application infrastructures and networks;

· Participate in the evolution of the IT infrastructure;


2. Systems Administration:

· Administer the Active Directory domain;

· Administer virtual servers and the VMware environment;

· Administer cloud enterprise applications;

· Administer application development and deployment services

· Administer the office telephony system;

· Ensure the integrity and security of system and network infrastructures;

· Manage the access rights and identities used by internal and cloud services;

· Manage the archival of production data;

· Ensure the development of the systems team members;

· Apply, improve and document IT processes;


3. Technical support:

· Provide outstanding customer service and follow-up on Level 2 and 3 applications;

· Assign and climb tickets as needed





· Technical college diploma in computer systems management or equivalent;

· 2 to 4 years experience in technical support and / or data storage administration;

· 3 to 5 years experience in systems administration;

· Experience in the field of post-production - an asset;

· Apple, Microsoft, or UNIX certification (s);

· Cisco, HP or equivalent network administration certification;

· Advanced mastery of French and English, both oral and written;

· In-depth knowledge of Apple iOS, Apple MacOS, Google Android, Microsoft Windows and Linux platforms;

· Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure;

· In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server, Ubuntu Linux, VMWare vCenter;

· Knowledge of Bash, Windows PowerShell, Python;

· Knowledge of Flexera FlexNet (FlexLM), Reprise License Manager (RLM) and other licensing systems;

· Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Autodesk 3ds max, Autodesk Maya, Autodesk Shotgun, Foundry Nuke, Houdini and Maxon Cinema 4D production applications - an asset;
