This Technical Support role in is an opportunity to be involved with a highly successful Pre Visualisation company working on feature films. The role will see you working closely with the Supervisors, Artists and production staff to manage and maintain various technical support tasks ranging from network implementation to system and license administration.  

You will be providing support on both hardware and software platforms for artists working directly on shows in remote locations and for production staff within our own facility. Other tasks include the deployment and administration of system workstations on new projects, inventory management and taking an active role in maintaining security protocols for film industry audit compliance.  Excellent communication skills are needed as this is a client facing position. This role will be primarily based at Leavesden Studios and will require some travel to other studio spaces in and around London.



  • Manage, maintain and support windows workstations & servers
  • Help troubleshoot workstation and laptop issues
  • Help deploy and install software like Adobe Creative Cloud, Autodesk Suite and Foundry
  • Troubleshoot networking (wired & wifi) related issues for workstations and laptops
  • Help manage QNAP based storage, including managing permissions and access control
  • Manage Windows Servers at Leavesden Office, as well as, our remote teams throughout the London area.
  • Maintain a detailed inventory of all hardware and software licenses in the studio


Essential Skills:

  • Be proactive, love troubleshooting and happy to help less technical users
  • Experience managing a Windows infrastructure (Windows AD, Windows Server)
  • Knowledge in managing and supporting Windows workstations and users
  • Knowledge in managing and configuring Networking services (DNS, DHCP)
  • Experience with Foundry, Autodesk, Adobe and other VFX software
  • Managing networked printers and scanners
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, at least 25 lbs.
  • Able to drive and owns their own car
  • Experience and awareness in Cyber Security


Desired Skills: 

  • Proficient in Maya
  • Knowledge and interest in 3D work (specifically Modelling)
  • Understanding of Animation principles
  • Knowledge of Nuke
  • Knowledge of Adobe Products
  • Knowledge of Unreal Game Engine
  • Interest in VR/AR
