Pixar Animation Studio's Post Production Engineering team develops software to support all of our post production pipeline, including color grading, packaging, delivery, and media asset archiving.  Together with our internal customers, we have a complex pipeline of deliverables and can create terabytes of new media in a single day.  Our software touches every Pixar project (feature films, shorts, and promotional material) and every version of it (Digital Cinema, Blu-ray/UHD, 3D, International).   Our software needs to be reliable and robust so we can meet hard deadlines, yet flexible enough to adapt to new requirements on short notice.  As technology advancements like HDR, 4K, and streaming transform the motion picture industry, we need engineers who are passionate to tackle new problems.

You are a versatile software engineer who can wear many hats - design, development, testing, support.  You are dedicated to writing reliable, maintainable code, in both a new and legacy codebase.  You enjoy working directly with the people who use your tools, to understand their workflow and needs.  You have experience with or interest in image and video processing.  You are proactive, flexible, and a great communicator.
