TGBVFX is looking for a system administrator, to help provide the solid back-bone and systems that allow us to keep delivering awesome visual effects for feature films, TV and commercials for clients all over the globe.

Required Skills

  • Windows, MacOS and Linux knowledge, with an emphasis on the Windows part.
  • Active Directory
  • Great knowledge of networks and storage optimization
  • Knowledgeable in IT Security
  • Ability to work independently and drive projects forward
  • Ability to work in teams
  • Ability to learn new software and concepts quickly
  • Focus on great documentation

 Preferred qualifications

  • Distributed systems such as render farms
  • Experience in Visual Effects or post production
  • Write Python, Bash and Powershell
  • Focus on high availability systems and security
  • Knowledge and experience with license servers (RLM, Flex)
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016, configuration and maintenance of Active Directory and distributed file systems
  • Knowledge of as many of the following as possible:
    • Maya
    • Nuke
    • Houdini
    • RV
    • FTrack
    • Adobe Creative suite
    • Davinci Resolve
    • Colour Science

 You will be responsible for keeping our systems running perfectly, including system and software deployment, implementing security standards, purchasing new, and updating old workstations, rendernodes and other equipment.

 The setup you will be working with is a mix of blade servers, peta byte sans, high end workstations, 100gbit backend network delivering data over 10gbit to workstations. You will be working in our cool studio in the new Nordhavn part of Copenhagen with about 30 other excited, talented and all in all great people.
