  • Support of creative users systems and tools (photo, video, and post)
  • Deploy applications and software updates across the Apple platform
  • Provide troubleshooting and functional support of the Apple computing environment, including but not limited to: Imaging, network attached storage accessibility, antivirus, configuration management; and workstation security.
  • Provide technical support by creating and/or resolving standard and escalated IT support cases
  • Administer/Support/Maintain multiple backend storage platforms (Isilon, VNX, Synology)
  • Monitor/Maintain existing data backup platform (NetBackup, Quantum library)
  • Define requirements, document specifications, identify vendors and estimate prices for upgrades and new technology initiatives.
  • Maintain and improve existing MS Windows platforms including high-end video workstations and backend render farm.
  • Coordinate testing and deployment of Apple patches to client workstations
  • Develop clear documentation targeted at both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Provide on-site and/or on call weekend support, as needed
  • Other projects and duties as may be required or assigned.


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Expert working knowledge of Apple systems in a corporate environment (macOS X, Office 2011, printer configuration, security, AD integration, hardware troubleshooting, software distribution, imaging deployment, settings management)
  • Experience configuring and supporting Microsoft Windows Systems in a corporate environment
  • Troubleshooting macOS and all the technologies it uses. (DNS, DHCP, Wireless and Wired Networking, TCP IP)
  • Apple enterprise services, including APNs, App Store, Apple Software Update, DEP, and VPP
  • Demonstrated Experience with backend storage systems SAN/NAS (EMC preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience administrating enterprise backup system (NetBackup preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills including the ability to successfully execute on multiple projects
  • Ability to relate to, and effectively communicate professionally with, all levels of employees
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting, and organizational skills       

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience with virtual machine platforms including Parallels, VMware, HyperV and/or Virtualbox
  • Creating and deploying Window images for multiple computers through use of SCCM, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit,/Windows Deployment Services, Sysprep, or other means
  • VPS/hosting solutions such as Azure and AWS


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent education and/or related work experience


  • 5+ years senior administration experience in a business production environment
  • Previous experience in customer support, computer operations, system administration, or a related area
  • Previous experience in a highly creative environment strongly desired.
  • Experience with a user environment utilizing G-Suite, Office 365 or equivalent
  • Demonstrable track record of introducing new and/or improved technology in a business or production environment


 Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT), MCSE preferred
