Sneak peek of stealth startup Igneous & tech talk from Darcy Reno

This will be the first preview of Igneous before we launch publicly in October, and we chose the Vancouver M&E community as the best place to start. You are open to new ideas and vocal about your technology needs and preferences, and we want to hear from you. Igneous is a startup based in Seattle and while we have been quiet to date, we are in production and eager to give you a sneak peek of our offering. Igneous is offering cloud services for the data you can’t or won’t send to the cloud, with the subscription model you have come to expect.

In addition to introducing our offering, Darcy Reno will present an independent tech talk. For those who don't know Darcy, he is a 17 year industry veteran who spent time at Electronic Arts, MPC, and Starz, and is currently the CTO of Bardel Entertainment. He will be talking about his passion for transforming the M&E industry by implementing fully cloud native workflows. 

Join us on August 31st for happy hour at Steel Toad Brewpub and Dining Hall. Doors open at 5pm and the presentations will be from around 5:45-6:15pm.
