CentOS 7.4?

Hey All,
Has anyone taken the jump to CentOS/RHEL 7.4 yet? I'm thinking of updating some machines (including my own) but I'm not sure if there's been enough testing on the platform yet. I know for a fact that Modo has some issues with it. But I have gotten Maya running in VM's earlier with it. No VP2 tests though.
If you use the following tools, I'd appreciate any pointers about 7.4:
Nuke, Mari, Modo, Maya, Substance Painter
Cheers!
Mike

p { margin: 0; }I was over-complicating it.. as usual.
Simply building input-wacom is enough for it to work, no need to replace the driver with source.
Thanks.

I just built/installed input-wacom - and I'm using xorg-x11-drv-wacom (aka xf86-input-wacom) and libwacom that ships with 7.4

I don't have any custom udev rules for wacoms

I'm using Mate and Xorg is configured without an xorg.conf file - it just uses the the default /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-wacom.conf snippet

The tablet is not currently plugged in - and I'm not near the machine at the moment, so can't give you an xsetwacom output ...

Hope this is helpful ...

The RHEL/CentOS 7.4 kernel doesn't (yet) support the 'Intuos Pro 2'
tablets (PTH-660 and PTH-860)

However, the more recent linuxwacom kernel drivers (input-wacom) from
http://linuxwacom.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Input-wacom (I used
v0.37.0) appear to build, load and work with CentOS 7.4 and a PTH-660
tablet - although my 'testing' just involves moving the pen over the
tablet and watching the cursor move on the screen :-)

I had a working compile of everything needed for 7.3 but when trying the same install for 7.4 it doesn't work.. which is confusing, as it should just work the same, right?
I know the new tablets have native kernel support in 4.11 but that's quite a leap from what 7.4 comes with...

The version of the Xorg Wacom driver (xorg-x11-drv-wacom) that ships
with RHEL/CentOS 7.4 breaks pressure sensitivity with Mari and Nuke

Or more correctly, the newer Xorg Wacom driver exposes a bug/feature in
Mari and Nuke that causes their use of pressure sensitivity to break ...

There is a workaround by adding an Xorg Wacom driver option
("Pressure2K") - for more details, see:

https://support.foundry.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001011144-Q100314-Wacom-Pressure-Sensitivity-updates-on-Linux-may-cause-issues-with-Mari-and-Nuke

Notes:

1. The above article incorrectly states the issue is with CentOS 6.9 -
the xorg-x11-drv-wacom package that ships with RHEL/CentOS 6.9 does not
have this issue with Mari and Nuke.

2. It also mentions patching and rebuilding the xorg-x11-drv-wacom
package to support the required option - this is not required with
RHEL/CentOS 7.4 - it already supports the "Pressure2K" option
