Can anyone recommend a good solution for applying invisible digital watermarks to video that needs to be securely distributed?

Preferably using a mac based client application.

Thanks in advance.

watermarking is separate from "secure distribution" so not really sure what you are asking for here.
As for watermarking it depends on how "secure" you want the watermark to be and what the requirements are but ffmpeg with libavfilter and a transparent png might work for you.You might want to reconsider using an invisible watermark. Will work fine if the original video file is shared but maybe not if someone rips it with screen capture software. Dropping in a single frame semi-transparent pixel/qr somewhere might be better.
If you need something commercial check out Digimarc https://www.digimarc.com/
"secure distribution" is a whole nother thing...
