Unfortunately no.
DigiPro, like the other SIGGRAPH sponsored and co-located events ("computer animation symposium" and "high performance graphics"), requires separate registration.
It's pretty reasonable though in terms of price and includes lunch and a social gathering afterward.
Cheers
Phil

Phil,

Do you guys have any part of DigiPro that is free/included with a SIGGRAPH pass? I'll be in town early, mostly to eat tacos and meet friends, but if there was some aspect of the event that was free/open to guests I would be interested....

Registration for DigiPro 2015 is still open. We already have a record number registered this year, but we still have some room (we did sell out last year slightly bigger venue this year, but dont leave it til the last minute or you might miss out).
DigiPro 2015 (the Digital Production Symposium) is sponsored by ACM / SIGGRAPH and is Saturday 8 August this year in downtown LA. The conference is also supported/sponsored by the industry with sponsors this year being: Weta Digital, Toon Boom, MPC, Shotgun, Sidefx and OLM Digital. Basically, DigiPro is both complimentary to the main SIGGRAPH conference and with a more specific focus. If you want to know more about it, check out information/program etc. on the website (http://dp2015.digiproconf.org) or the folks at fxguide have a nice article about the conference that will give you an idea of what its all about (http://www.fxguide.com/quicktakes/digipro-2015-a-great-start-to-siggraph/).
Cheers,
Phil

Yikes, the Pipeline BoF lead by Hannes from MPC is at the same time as the SSA BoF. That seems like a conflict of interest for some....

Handiest way of scheduling I have found is to use a Google Calendar and add the various SIGGRAPH schedules from:
http://skitten.org/2015/07/siggraph-2015-google-calendars/

Then just copy the sessions of interest over to your calendar.

If you have a full conference pass, take a few hours ahead of time to plan your schedule for the week, and be prepared for some painful decisions, there will be times when there will be 3 or 4 events of interest to you going on at the same time.

Don't miss out on the BoFs, there's usually some interesting stuff, and a chance to meet people with common interests.

If you have the chance and the contacts to get into the Blur party ... I have heard its amazing.
