All,

We are looking at alternatives to our current Human Resources and Financial Systems.

Can we get a quick poll on what other studios are using for this functionality.

Any feedback as to any pros and cons would be great... :)

Thank you;
John

Hello, this may sound weird but internally we rolled out our own ERP thanks to django web framework and the django admin feature

you specify your data model in python and you have a whole website with user authentication, data entry/edit forms etc generated out of the box

it's really great so far, and is simple to maintain (if your share our belief that an ERP is nothing but a DB with a web interface and access control on top of it)

All the best

I don't like that it is all cloud based, and out of house, but it wasn't my call. At least I don't have to support a QB server, with VPN any more.
The Scencronize file sharing has helped speed things up on the production side.
No Mac client, so windows only, unless you use parallels.

Careful with zenefits...they are tied up in a battle with ADP right now. I expect Zenefits will win out, but in the interim there are a lot of peeved customers
