While digging around Houdini for some weird installation / configuration issue, ran "hconfig -a" to list all environment variables, and it still has a few "oldies but goodies":

HOUDINI_ABEKAS_LOGNAME
HOUDINI_ABEKAS_LOGPASSWD  (all your Abekas are belong to us)
HOUDINI_ABEKAS_PAL_XRES
HOUDINI_ABEKAS_PAL_YRES
HOUDINI_IRIX_OSTRESTREAM_MAX_SIZE (I miss IRIX)
HOUDINI_VRML_CONVERT
HOUDINI_VRML_CONVERT2 (I hear VRML is the future of 3D on the web)

Not poking fun at SideFX here, I know how hard it can be to get rid of historical cruft in your code base, and especially to make a business case for spending time doing housekeeping.
